Ps- why are old skating photos better than new skating photos? Pantz? Skate technology? Spots? Skateboading on rollerblades?

I know... I don't get it. someone needs to decipher the secret. old photos are better. I need to find the pants I was wearing 7 years ago stat.

Its gotta be film over digital...but not the actual mediums (because they're just as good now), just that digital is so cheap it isn't JUST the best photographers with the best equipment...its like a million people with varying degrees of cameras/lenses/talent. Remember when DB was out? it was like 3 guys taking all the photos
