i think pop contest is going downhill. which is a big disappointment. i would rather see pop contest go sky high. everyone get together, have a good time and have a good skate session. i also think the "50" competitors is whack. i want to see good bladers rip it up instead of skaters who just started last year. also. 20 fee thing is also whack.
p.s- what happens if bladers from the states shows up to skate? they obviously didnt register because they dont know of the disboard. there. made my point. bit more advertisement would help out.
maybe see you all there. peace.

I'm not really gonna justify that with an answer. Kinda sounds like a drunken ramble so I wont old it against you.
But your welcome for fronting the insurance money, sorry I didn't splurge on more, I thought 50 was an pretty high number of serious competitors, if we had 50 people that wanna be mr popular the comp would be awesome, So I really don't get it.
P.S. If you don't want to pay $20, you can watch from the sidelines, its not like you cant come.

Hey Matt, I spread the word onto inline quebec, a few people seemed interested so hopefully it can draw out a more diverse skatng crowd. It would be amazing if someone from every province showed up. Pop contest can never go downhill, as long as I see all the homies from the different provinces that Ive met over the years then it will be amazing as always.

Dust your shoulders off chip, nothing to stress over. It is what it is and it still has huge potential to be a raging success. Comps should be paid entry, sessions should be free. I remember paying $20 to skate in comps 10 years ago when money was worth more and kids competed with bicycle helmets and rec skates. Props for doing it right Matt. All you guys need are some sponsors with deep pockets and POP could be a huge Canadian media event. Bands, booze, blading, babes, ect... memories to come.
